時刻表、日程安排表和旅行計畫是生活中常會用到的表格，三者在使用上有什麼需要注意的呢？

 

★ timetable/schedule

→無論是美式英語還是英式英語，timetable都不用來指人們的行程安排

V As the Dime Store Manager, I always have a busy schedule during Christmastime.

→計畫表、行程安排表：美式和英式都用 schedule

(身為「廉價商店」的經理，耶誕節期間我的日程安排總是滿滿的。)

 

． a class schedule（課程表）美式

． a work schedule（工作預定表）美式英式

． behind schedule（行程落後）美式英式

． Mabel found out her train's departure time in this timetable. 美式英式

（美博在這張時刻表上找到了她的火車出發時間。）

． You'll find out the ship's schedule after she gets a full load of fuel. 美式

（當船裝滿了燃料後，你就會查到船的時刻表。）

． If everything follows the schedule, we'll leave for the moon this afternoon. 美式英式

（如果一切都按照計畫表進行，我們今天下午就能去月球。）

 

★ itinerary

X Mary gave Joe his schedule for his sales trip around Mexico.

→當我們談論旅行計畫（travel plan），尤其是被推薦的路程，要用itinerary

V Mary gave Joe his itinerary for his sales trip around Mexico.

(瑪麗把喬在墨西哥巡迴銷售的旅程計畫給了他。)

．depart from one's itinerary（改變自己的旅行計畫）
