Jared and Caroline are discussing a business trip to another state.

J: The first meeting's been scheduled for 9 a.m. on Thursday, which means we should probably get to town on Wednesday night. That means taking a Wednesday morning flight, I suppose, to be on the safe side.

C: Agreed. We've accumulated a lot of miles with Jetways Airlines; I suggest we get a ticket from them.

J: Good idea. I'll tell Katharine to take care of that. So, we'll need a hotel Wednesday night and Thursday.

C: And don't forget that we have dinner plans with our other clients on Thursday night. I think it would be better to come back on Friday morning than to rush through dinner in order to make a late Thursday night flight.

J: You're right. So sometime today we should give Katharine our hotel preferences. I'd prefer to stay near the airport, if it's all the same to you.

C: Sure. We'll need a car, too, won't we? There's no public transportation from the airport there, is there?

J: I don't think so. The other big issue is our presentation materials. I don't really want to carry them through the airport. It's best to travel light.

C: But I don't know if I want to trust them to a shipping company!
