星期一早上，同事們互相討論著上週末的活動。

B：Good morning, Katharine. How was your weekend? I saw your pictures on Facebook; it seems like you had a good time!

凱薩琳早安。週末過得如何？我在臉書上面看到妳的照片，看起來妳玩得很愉快！

K：Oh, it was pretty nice. I went outside and enjoyed the sunshine a lot. How about you?

噢，還不錯，我出門曬了很多太陽。妳呢？

B：I enjoyed the sun, too. I mostly worked in my garden over the weekend. I'm not much of a partyer.

我也享受了陽光，幾乎整個週末都在院子裡東弄西弄。我實在不是派對咖。

A：Good morning, ladies.

早安啊，小姐們。

K：Hi, April.

早，艾波。

A：Hi. Mondays, ugh. I need some more coffee.

又到星期一啊。我需要多點咖啡提神。

K：Late night?

妳玩到很晚？

A：It was a busy weekend. Fun, but busy. I had some friends visiting from out of town, and I went totally overboard2 showing them a good time. I think I need about ten more hours of sleep before I'll be any use to anyone.

週末真是忙翻了，又忙又好玩。我和幾位外地來的朋友簡直是玩瘋了，我看我要再睡上十小時才有辦法幫你們任何人的忙。
