J:Around 10 o’clock, but last night I had a lot of homework.

十點左右,但昨晚我作業很多。

A:I stayed up late last night too. I watched a horror movie.

我昨晚也熬夜。我看了部恐怖片。

J:That’s a terrible idea before bed!

睡覺前看恐怖片是很糟的主意!

A:I know, I know. But once I started watching, I couldn’t stop.

我當然知道啊,但我一旦看了,就停不了。

 

★  I overslept this morning! 我今早睡過頭了!

D:Are you okay, Amy? You don’t look well.

艾咪,妳還好嗎?妳看起來不太好。

A:I overslept this morning. I didn’t even hear my alarm.

我今早睡過頭了,甚至沒聽到鬧鐘響。

D:How many hours did you sleep altogether?

妳一共睡幾小時呢?

A:I’m not sure. Maybe four or fi ve.

不確定。可能四或五小時

D:You need six or more! If you don’t get enough sleep, you can’t concentrate in school.

妳需要六小時以上的睡眠。如果你沒有充足的睡眠,就無法專注在課業上。

A:I know you’re right. I think I’m just stressed right now.

我知道你是對的,我覺得我現在就感到壓力很大。
